http://teamprometheus.org/movies/2009_1 ... chive.html
We were successful in making our first zero pressure balloon and our Hydrogen Generator has also been successfully tested!
Thanks to Stew Lilley and Rodger Harkess we now have the components we need to test the first N-Prize Satellite!
We are awaiting the delivery of the Satellite and will set the date as soon as we get it here in Texas.
Test to be conducted from the Rocket Ranch test site in Lampasas, Texas.

I noticed whilst reading your web page that you are doing stuff for frednet are you also part of their google x-prise team if so how is it working for an opensource team? we at potentvoyager have considered going open source but have so far put it off as it may discourage potential investors/sponsors that we may need to complete the project i would be interested in your opinion as you seem to be involved with frednet and may have seen some of the pros and cons..

Do it! Your not IMHO going to get funding. So it is the way to go. If you did not notice Team Prometheus has been mostly that way with a hint of secrecy! For fun!

If your worried about funding I'd hang it up right now. Just go for it!
