Progress on Liquid fuel engine

Postby Monroe » Tue Nov 10, 2009 7:50 pm

Last night I got around to cleaning up the materials for the LF static test motor and cut down the shaft to make a mandrel for the converging diverging part. Stew's going to do the chamber calculations and hopefully I'll start spinning it over the next few days.

P.S. there is some pick's on our blog.

I made good progress today on the construction I did not get the neck spun all the way down but I'll work on that some more tomorrow. I did also post our first prototype satellite made by Rodger. http://teamprometheus.org/movies/Blog But you can only see it in Internet Explorer still.

Hey, even more progress! Combustion chamber is completed and the flange is made for the Cooling Jacket! Next I flair the cooling jacket and make the injector plate!
