Microlaunchers,LLC update

Finally a corporation: Microlaunchers,LLC in Las Vegas. Next, to get a DUNS abd CAGE number so SBIRs can be sought.

As of now, am looking at shop locations in northern part of Vegas. Might be North Las Vegas, near Bigelow Aerospace, or in county area nearer to the racetrack in NE part of town.

I'll be looking for interested hands-on participants for N Prize (understand it is being extended again, to Sept 2013), and the new Nano-Satellite Launch Challenge with its $3 million in prize money. That opens at the end of 2012 and runs through 2014.

The launcher design for N Prize and Nano-Sat will be similar, with the larger to be the original "ML-1" capable of 1 kg to LEO or 200 grams to escape. The "ML-N" is still to be a preliminary, lower performance to be capable of a 125 gram "Pocket Cube" or 2-3 18 gram N sats.

Anyone in Vegas area who might be interested?

Hi Charles,

Larry Johnson has a shop near the race track. Have you contacted Vegas Tripoli for volunteers?

We had another set back with Sugar Shot but this weekend we did two tests that show us why the motors were CATOing.
We're now at work coming up with solutions.

It's a fair distance for me but if you get to a point where you need manpower for a short period of time let me know.
