From 60,000 to 100,000' depending on the amount of nitrous loaded on board. Unfortunately, as we were filling the nitrous, the weather went from calm and sunny to blasting wind and clouds with off and on precipitation. The launch was scrubbed. Drove back home in the snow...does NASA have these problems at the cape? Photos can be seen at

I'm just wondering, could you get more height out of that rocket if you used a composite outer body to reduce the weight or would it be too weak. It seems like and all metal shell would be a bit of overkill...

For our entry into the N-Prize, we are planning on using one metal and one composite motor casing that we have been testing.
